It's time for something different...

I am about to begin crafting my skills for scrying. I do not necessarily recommend this for just anybody, but those I do encourage are those already comfortable, confident and competent with their own altered states of consciousness, to maybe practice it also, if not already.

I'm already quite adept at internally seeing and channeling with eyes closed or when I'm 'checked in' with the energies, but not so much with scrying. I've now moved my sacred dark mirror onto my altar to start using it as an external tool to channel and see.

The unseen worlds have always fascinated me, and understanding them in my way has gifted me so much and it is an area that definitely deserves further investigation. And the way my mind works to is to begin with understanding terminology which helps me adjust accordingly. So my mind began with 'what does scrying mean? the word scrying is derived from the word descry. Which to descry means, "to get a glimpse".

It is my hope to get a glimpse into information behind the scenes, to help us. To expand my skills and expand my ability to communicate with unseen worlds... I'm excited.

The following is the format I'm starting with... I'm sure it will evolve over time.

Items required... a black mirror and then whatever you are drawn to enhance and protect, like crystals, smudge etc

Sacred Mystic Mirror

Begin by setting your space accordingly, cleanse, smudge and put your phone on air-plane mode.

Then settle in with your mirror and bits and pieces in from of you, make sure you are comfortable and may see into the mirror without strain or stress.

When you are comfortable, say out loud your own OPENING PRAYER...

I have my own that flows as I speak it.

Then out loud recite a PROTECTION INCANTATION, like the one below:

Then the MIRROR INVOCATION

Sacred Mystic Mirror, deep, dark and true

Please be a clear bridge between these few

Myself, my ancestors and my spiritual team

Providing the necessary live steady stream

From which we may know, sense and see

That which is pure & true, aho amen so mote it be.

You may sit in darkness or light now, and when you feel ready, soften your eyes and get your thinking mind out of the way and let your creative mind wander.

Once you begin to feel the energy shift and fade, don't try and force it back, graciously pull yourself back to the current time and place and close.

Finally offer your CLOSING PRAYER of thanks, making sure to disconnect and close the connection down. Sit listening to your physical environment and come back into lucid state.

It is my hope that in sharing part of my healing journey, that it may help, inspire or expand upon your own healing journey.
